It’s my favorite time of the year again, where the leaves begin changing color, and the chilly autumn air is upon us..

So to celebrate, I’m sharing another one of my DIY coffee syrup recipes.

My recipe for my DIY pumpkin spice syrup quickly became one of the most popular recipes I’ve posted. So this year, I’m back with another one that you can enjoy all year long – DIY Cinnamon Coffee Syrup.

DIY Cinnamon Coffee Syrup

Easy & Inexpensive DIY Cinnamon Coffee Syrup

    What You Need:

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 Cups water
    • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
    • 1/4 Cup brown sugar
    • 3 cinnamon sticks
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract

    Other Tools

    • Saucepan
    • Spoon or spatula
    • Fine-mesh strainer
    • Sterilized glass bottle or storage container

    Method

    In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, sugars, cinnamon sticks, and ground cinnamon. Once the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat to low. Allow to simmer for about 10 minutes.

    Remove from heat, and stir in the vanilla. Allow to cool slightly before straining into an air-tight container.

    This syrup will keep for about two weeks in the refrigerator, or, freeze the syrup into ice cubes.

    To use, simply add the syrup to your coffee, tea, or hot apple cider, and enjoy!
