The plates are available in four different designs on the Sourpuss website. I love that you can purchase the plates individually, so you can have one of each design, or you can just simply buy the designs you want. They offer a Brain (shown here), a ribcage, skull, and skeleton design.
The plates are also priced very reasonably! Around Halloween, I’ve seen items of much lesser quality and material going for more than the cost of these. These plates and mugs are ceramic, and the artwork displayed on them is EXTREMELY detailed and of great quality!

I received the Brain Anatomy Plate, and this particular design is my favorite of the set…but they are all awesome!
I love that while the artwork has a human brain in it, it still is perfect for those folks in your life that may not necessarily be fans of the horror genre or items with a spooky aesthetic. I also love the subtleness of the death certificate in the background! So not only is this a great item to utilize as your everyday dinnerware, but it’s also ideal for serving up dinner to your undead dinner guests!

Now, I’d like to talk a bit about the quality of these products – the images on these plates and mugs are gorgeous! The images are very nicely placed on the items, and will not chip or fade easily. I own so many other dishes that the images faded or rubbed off in a matter of a few washes, so when I saw how well-made these dishes were, I was really impressed. They also are very sturdy and have plenty of weight to them, and won’t crack or break easily. I LOVE these dishes!
These would be wonderful gifts for those who have an interest or profession in the medical or healthcare fields (or mortuary studies!), love science, or have an appreciation for vintage human anatomy drawings! The thing that is also really cool about the plates, is that you could simply just use them as decor items by placing them on a plate stand/plate wall hanger!
